UMJ FH Public Lecture Provides AIK Deepening for Students

 FH UMJ  held a Public Lecture with the title Al-Islam and Muhammadiyah in the Muhammadiyah Higher Education Curriculum in the Prof. Hall. Dr. Asro Sosroatmojo, SH., Monday (23/10/23).

This public lecture was held to deepen knowledge about Al-Islam Muhammadiyah (AIK) for students. This public lecture was attended by students, lecturers and the FH UMJ academic community by presenting the Chairman of the Muhammadiyah Regional Leadership (PWM) DKI Jakarta, Dr. Akhmad H. Abubakar, MM as the main speaker and moderated by Dr. Abdul Aziz Muhammad, SH., MH.

Dean of FH UMJ Dr. Dwi Putri Cahyawati, MH., admitted that students with diverse backgrounds needed to provide an understanding of Al-Islam Kemuhammadiyahan (AIK). According to him, AIK is a mandatory curriculum for all Muhammadiyah Aisyiyah Universities (PTMA). In this case, Dwi invited to strengthen AIK for all students.

Chairman of PWM DKI Akhmad H. Abubakar, MM, said that students studying at Muhammadiyah Universities are not only knowledgeable, but Islamic and knowledgeable. This is because the Al-Islam and Muhammadiyah curriculum is given as a basis for behaving, acting and behaving.

"Apart from studying at Muhammadiyah Universities, learning about Al-Islam is only about two credits, but at Muhammadiyah it is about eight credits. "This needs to be added as an effort to produce Islamic and knowledgeable graduates," stressed Abubakar.

Furthermore, Akhmad H. Abubakar, MM, explained that the personality of Muhammadiyah is an Islamic movement with the message of Amar Ma'ruf Nahi Munkar which is guided by the Al-Qur'an and Sunnah. According to him, if students want to be successful they need to understand the Koran well and correctly.

"If we want to achieve success and happiness, God has provided guidance in the Koran," said Abubakar.

Abubakar in his presentation emphasized a lot on providing space and time to understand the meaning contained in each verse of the Al-Quran. According to him, the Koran has always been the main guideline in human life. He hopes that this will be a valuable moment for students to know and understand the meaning of AI-Islam Kemuhammadiyahan.

This public lecture was welcomed enthusiastically by students and filled the Prof. Hall. Dr. Asro Sosroatmojo, SH. One of the Law Faculty students, Novaldo Siregar, stated that students must have an understanding of Al-Islam and Muhammadiyah. According to him, both Muhammadiyah and its figures have proven the key to success in practicing AI-Islam and Muhammadiyah.

144 LULUSAN PPG FIP UMJ DIKUKUHKAN

  Sebanyak 144 lulusan Program Pendidikan Profesi Guru (PPG)   Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan  Universitas Muhammadiyah Jakarta   (FIP UMJ) resmi dikukuhkah. Prosesi pengukuhan dan pengambilan sumpah diselenggarakan di Aula dr. Syafri Gurucci,   Fakultas Kedokteran dan Kesehatan (FKK) , Sabtu (03/02/2024). Baca juga :  Pelepasan KKN Mahasiswa FIP UMJ ke Gunung Kidul Peserta pengukuhan dan pengambilan sumpah profesi guru merupakan guru yang sudah lulus PPG dalam Jabatan Kategori 1 Angkatan 1 Tahun 2023, dan Prajabatan Gelombang 2 Tahun 2022. 144 lulusan terdiri dari lulusan PPG dalam jabatan berjumlah 37 orang dan Prajabatan 107 orang. Program PPG diikuti oleh guru yang belum ataupun berpengalaman mengajar hingga puluhan tahun untuk memiliki sertifikat pendidik profesional sesuai dengan amanat Undang-undang Guru dan Dosen No.14 tahun 2005. FAI UMJ Lecturer Passes Mufasir Conference Selection

Proud achievements came from Lecturer  at the Faculty of Islamic Religion, Muhammadiyah University, Jakarta  , Dr.  Dr.  H. Zainal Arif, MA., who successfully passed the selection to the Muhammadiyah Mufasir Conference with  a paper  entitled "  E-Commerce  Perspectives in the Al-Qur'an".  This is based on a decision letter issued by  the Tarjih and Tajdid Council of Muhammadiyah Central Leadership  after selecting several participants, Monday, 06/11/2023. PRODI EKONOMI ISLAM FEB UMJ RAIH AKREDITASI UNGGUL

  Program Studi Ekonomi Islam Strata 1   Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis  Universitas Muhammadiyah Jakarta  (FEB UMJ) berhasil meraih predikat Akreditasi Unggul dari   Lembaga Akreditasi Mandiri Ekonomi Manejemen Bisnis dan Akutansi   (LAMEMBA). Predikat ini didapat berdasarkan SK LAMEMBA No. 1016/DE/A.5/AR.10/II/2024 pada Senin (05/2/2024).
