Members of the 3rd Batch of KPM UMJ Officially Inaugurated
Members of the 3rd Batch of the Jakarta Muhammadiyah University Student Protocol Corps (KPM UMJ) were officially inaugurated after being declared to have passed a series of open recruitment selections and interviews which had been going on for one month. The inauguration was held in the Hall of the Faculty of Islamic Religion, Friday (03/11/2023).

A total of 45 KPM UMJ members are ready to carry out campus protocol duties after making their inauguration promises led by the KPM UMJ management. To mark his official inauguration as a KPM member, he also symbolically pinned a jacket and protocol pin represented by Muhammad Dafik and Anis Zaitun.
The agenda continued with basic protocol training which on this occasion presented two speakers, namely the Head of the UMJ Protocol Section, Syifa Astasia Utari, M.Si., and the General Chair of the UMJ KPM, Azka Muzakkie. Members are provided with basic knowledge of KPM UMJ protocols and organization.
"We are strengthening these KPM members so that the levels of relationship and responsibility of the protocol corps are not lost, so there is a long term and when they become alumni they still have a great sense of responsibility towards the protocol corps," said Azka when interviewed.
Azka further hopes that KPM UMJ members can always maintain and develop the good name of the university and can become a quality regeneration.
In line with this, the Head of the UMJ Protocol Section, Syifa Astasia Utari, M.Sc., said that the inauguration of the UMJ KPM was an initiation from the UMJ University Secretariat Office (KSU) to involve students in contributing and collaborating to give a positive impression to the university. In this case, KPM members will receive training regarding organization, leadership, public speaking , and other things that support protocols.
"The hope is that the new KPM UMJ members can be motivated to jointly contribute to the university so that they can have more competence than other students," added Syifa, expressing her hopes.
